Dear Pansy Presidents
As the current reigning Queen, I wish to thank our two most discerning Pansy Presidents for selecting me as Pansy of the Month for June. I was and still am overwhelmed! Words failed me when I realised the magnitude of the honour bestowed upon me! It is clear that you exercised your infinite wisdom in the selection process (as you rightly state in the Pansy section). Who else would have recognised and celebrated my unique disposition, exceptionally good hair day and overall pink aura, factors that resulted in me winning the June competition! I grace the home page of the much revered Pansy Project website with the greatest of honour and humiliation - ag sorrie - humility!
In the spirit of the excitement, fairness and collaboration, I wish to make a quite profound suggestion: We must have a Pansy of the Year competition! As the Winter Solstice Pansy, I am injecting to the past (Pansies from January - May) and projecting to the future Pansies, and I believe that all of us worthy monthly Pansies should have it out for 2007! The occasion should befit the status of a Pansy of the Month Queen. Pomp! Ceremony! Egos! Stillettos! Harriets! The ultimate Pansy Cap will be worn by the ultimate Pansy for 2007!!
